Did i manifest this lifestyle?

The travel lifestyle is coming to an end this month.

If you don't already know, my fiance and I have been traveling together for almost two years. We packed up our Jeep with all of our belongings and two cats in October of 2020 and have been living in Airbnbs and furnished rentals.

It’s been an incredible experience living in three different states, staying at eight different properties, and driving countless miles to explore. Although I'll miss the adventure, it's time to have a place to call home, especially now that I’m running my online business full-time! I wouldn’t say we are done traveling but we are finally settling down and growing some roots in Scottsdale, Arizona. Yes, I know… it’s hot. There is actually sunshine over 300 days a year!

This has been a fun experience for us though because we now get to furnish a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment from scratch! We contemplated flying home to NY to pack up a Uhaul of some furniture that we have in storage to drive back to AZ with, but with the gas prices right now it would cost us more to do that (plus the time commitment) than it would to just purchase everything new!

Que a shopping spree and I’m also realizing the freakin crazy amount of little things you forget you need like a cutting board, towels, bathroom garbage cans and cutlery. I am not an interior designer by any means but Pinterest and budget shopping has increased my creativity and I’m loving it.

I’m not writing this to share all of those nitty-gritty details (unless you’re interested, lmk). I want to share about the apartment that I manifested.

Yeap.. manifested. Although Matt isn’t 100% sure about the manifestation process I’m experiencing (I’ll share about that another time), the apartment we are moving to is seriously a DREAM. As soon as I saw it I started the manifestation process, telling the universe “this or something better”. The universe found a way (we are co-creating after-all) because there was ONE apartment available in our price range. ONE. Some will say it's a coincidence that we toured and applied at the right time but I believe this was meant for us.

Anyway, back to the apartment. I didn’t think that we would ever live in an apartment complex, we have always liked townhomes or duplex-style apartments and the thought of living in a complex situation didn’t appeal to me until finding this BEAUTY.

This isn’t your typical apartment complex okay and I didn’t even know these “elevated luxury apartments” existed. Let me just list a FEW of the amenities that completely sold me on the thought of living here.

  • Rooftop pool and hot tub

  • Cold plunge

  • Sauna

  • Steam room

  • Full-sized gym

  • Private workspaces

  • 24/7 Concierge service

  • Floor to ceiling windows

  • 7 acres of walking trails and beautiful landscaping

This is an entirely new experience and life is about to completely uplevel, I’m already envisioning my new morning routine. There are a lot of other features I’m excited about but I am not one to boast and I think you get the picture.

Although there are so many amenities and aspects to this elevated living, the sense of community is exactly what we need and truly what sold us on living here.

I have a few friends that live in Arizona but together as a couple, Matt and I are ready to make some new friends! The apartment has BBQs, events, workout classes, and happy hours, even a random continental breakfast on the first Wednesday we are living there! Like what?! Meeting people, forming connections, and networking is something that we are both ready for. I mean have you ever tried to make new friends as an adult, probably at a bar right? It’s not that easy so this is a priceless opportunity for us and I couldn’t be more grateful.

We will miss the travel lifestyle and I cherish the memories created but I’m looking forward to this next chapter in my life. The home environment has such an impact on your overall health, if you’re not happy in your space or your environment isn’t working for you, consider how that could be impacting your everyday life and habits. Traveling is great but I'm ready for a place to call home and can depend on longer than a few months at a time.

I’ll leave you with that but if you want to see more of this new apartment living, follow me on Instagram and catch me in my stories! See you there.
