Are we on the same page?
October officially marks one year since starting my health coaching business. I honestly cannot believe it and while it has been an incredible experience overall, there has been a lot of discomfort and growth. The health coaching part is my favorite (obviously) but the other stuff like running my website, creating a content strategy, marketing, finances, etc. basically all the actual business stuff has been challenging. I’m googling things like SEO optimization, LLC, and “how to fix the sound on Zoom” which are all things that I didn’t realize came with the territory of building a business until I jumped in. Don’t get me wrong I love it all, I wake up every morning with so much gratitude to be living this life and getting the opportunity to help so many people in a way that feels good to me. I dreamed of these days and I can’t believe they’re here and happening.
This first year does feel like it has been all over the place but, I now realize it was for discovering how I want to show up as a health coach in my small corner of the internet. I allowed myself the space to play around, trial and error, and more importantly, step out of my comfort zone.
Since I was able to do that, I established a system that I could stay consistent with and feel good about. I wanted to take a moment to make sure we were on the same page with how that looks. I appreciate consistency and transparency, I wanted to make sure that you had a clear understanding of what you could expect from me each week!
Before we get into that, what even is health coaching?? This is a valid question to have!
Health coaching is a collaborative relationship between the client and the health coach. Together, we look at nutrition as well as lifestyle, exercise, career, spirituality, home environment, and relationships. From there, I help with goal setting and behavioral change. Most of us know when we feel our best and what foods we should be eating, but it’s not always easy. Sometimes you need a partner to help guide and support you while providing recommendations and a safe space to self-reflect. Health coaching helps you tap into your inner strengths and wisdom guiding you to become self-sufficient to develop the skills and tools necessary for sustainable health and change.

Every Tuesday and Friday I publish a blog here on my website. If you’re reading this then you know what I’m talking about lol. These blog posts surround a wide variety of topics under three categories: nutrition, lifestyle, and holistic health. Sometimes they’re more personal and sometimes they’re more educational, I am always open to suggestions and topics you’re especially interested in. I also offer free educational webinars and workshops quarterly. Each workshop is designed around a specific topic like eating for energy and deconstructing your cravings. These are fun opportunities to learn, reflect, and get a sense of what it’s like to work with a health coach! My next one will be at the start of 2023!

One at the beginning of the month highlighting a topic of education, recipes, tips, and more. The second sends out on the last day of the month highlighting my "favorites" and a recap of the month!

If you’re just getting started with transforming your health and thinking about your wellness long-term the healthy pantry makeover is a great place to get started. It’s an opportunity to get a strong understanding of food labels, ingredients, healthy swaps, and more. You have a chance to map out some specific nutritional goals for yourself within this education-focused session.
My 1:1 holistic and integrative health coaching program is for anyone that is fully committed to improving their lifestyle and overall health. This is a six-month program for Millenials who are ready to take their health into their own hands by discovering their bio-individuality and becoming empowered for a sustainable, long-term, and healthy lifestyle.
Every client program looks different and there is no one-size-fits-all framework that I follow. I believe that what works for one person may not work for another and I help bring out the path meant for YOU. I have a large coaching toolbox of resources, recommendations, and knowledge to help support you along your journey. I pull from this toolbox as I see the best fit for each client and what their specific needs and goals are.
